OPO (One Person Operation) Track to
Train Cable Management
The OPO system is designed to enable wireless feed of CCTV
images to new S-Stock driver cabs. One Person Operation allows
train drivers to act as the conductor at platform stops to
ensure that passenger safety and security is not compromised.
Stations served by S-Stock cars require an enhanced OPO
solution to provide drivers with a clear view of train’s doors
whilst at the platform.
Deltaline Design developed and obtained full assurance for
cable management systems. Works included design and
specification of discreet and compliant cable management
systems from Ticket Hall to Track Level. Working closely with
London Underground, Deltaline Design surveyed, designed and
obtain assurance for OPO installations at 25 station sites.
Deltaline prepared a full set of assurance and construction
documentation which was approved bu LU to programme and works
started on site as planned.
