Cartier Building - Old Bond Street
To facilitate refurbishment of Cartier's Old Bond Street
Building Deltaline were appointed to design and detail
temporary works providing support to all floors during
complete removal and replacement of a load bearing facade
wall. Temporary works included five levels of independently
adjustable propping providing both vertical support to floors
and lateral support to party walls.
Other Deltaline works included the design of all internal
steel work connections and temporary floor propping to enable
the delivery routes of heavy fit-out equipment.
To safely progress works Deltaline provided a fully
qualified Temporary Works Coordinator to guide and monitor
site operations.
Deltaline prepared a full set of risk and construction
documentation to programme which was approved by the Client
for works to proceed on site as planned with no safety or
reliability issues.
