Off Line Battery Inverter System -
Knightsbridge Underground Station
In support of London Underground 'Step Free Access' program
Deltaline Design were appointed to provide electrical design
services for a new Off Line Battery Inverter System (OLBI).
The new system was located within the Brompton Road Ticket
Hall with supplies distributed throughout Knightsbridge
Station. Additional works included design of new 400 amp
incoming service heads, switch gear, cables and cable route
management system.
Deltaline Design engineers provided electrical, temporary
works and civil engineering support to enable the assured
installation of the system supported by a comprehensive pack
of assurance documentation for the delivery installation and
testing of the full OLBI system.
Deltaline Designs Assurance Documentation was approved by LU
to programme and works started and progressed on site as
planned.
